What Is Lip Filler For?

Lip injections are designed to define and hydrate the lips, providing immediate results that typically last between six months and one year.

Benefits of the Lip Filler Process

Enhanced Appearance
  • Gradual, Natural Results: Slow and steady wins the race with lip filler. At NoMi Beach Health, we prioritize achieving a natural look by enhancing your lips in harmony with your existing facial features.
  • Facial Symmetry: Properly balanced lips can improve the overall proportions of your face, whether you’re seeking a subtle enhancement or a more noticeable transformation.
Hydrated, Healthier Lips
  • Relief for Chapped Lips: Our dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid, which can hold up to a thousand times its weight in water. This helps keep the lips looking and feeling more lush and moisturized.

How to Achieve Fuller Lips with Subtle Lip Injections

At NoMi Beach Health, our goal is to help you attain well-defined, crisp lip borders and just the right amount of volume for a naturally hydrated pout. As a medspa, we pride ourselves on avoiding overfilled or exaggerated results, ensuring you maintain a look that complements your unique features.

Addressing Migrated Filler

If we notice that you have migrated lip filler from a previous provider, we’ll recommend dissolving the old filler before administering any new injections. This step is essential for preserving your natural lip anatomy and achieving the best possible outcome.

Pre-Care

To minimize bruising during your cheek filler procedure, please follow these guidelines:
  • Avoid consuming alcohol for at least 3 days prior to your appointment.
  • Consult with your healthcare provider about temporarily discontinuing blood-thinning medications or supplements, such as Ibuprofen, Excedrin, Aspirin, Aleve, or Fish Oil.
  • Arrive at your appointment without makeup for a clean and safe treatment experience.

Post-Care

After your filler treatment, please adhere to the following post-care instructions for optimal results:
  • Refrain from working out for at least 24 hours.
  • Avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours.
  • Do not rub or massage the treated areas for 4 hours.
  • Swelling is normal and expected. It typically subsides within 2 weeks, though minor residual swelling may persist for up to 4 weeks. Please plan your appointments accordingly if you have any major events coming up.
