Pre-Care
To minimize bruising during your cheek filler procedure, please follow these guidelines:
- Avoid consuming alcohol for at least 3 days prior to your appointment.
- Consult with your healthcare provider about temporarily discontinuing blood-thinning medications or supplements, such as Ibuprofen, Excedrin, Aspirin, Aleve, or Fish Oil.
- Arrive at your appointment without makeup for a clean and safe treatment experience.
Post-Care
After your filler treatment, please adhere to the following post-care instructions for optimal results:
- Refrain from working out for at least 24 hours.
- Avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours.
- Do not rub or massage the treated areas for 4 hours.
- Swelling is normal and expected. It typically subsides within 2 weeks, though minor residual swelling may persist for up to 4 weeks. Please plan your appointments accordingly if you have any major events coming up.
